The Colonnade Club

membership

Members of the Colonnade Club comprise an impressive and diverse roster of alumni, faculty, and friends of the University.

The Colonnade Club is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout all aspects of our operation, including membership, board composition, staff, vendor relationships, and programming. While we continue to strive toward improvement in all areas, as a signal of our renewed dedication to this commitment we will be designating a minimum of 25% of our programming budget to events actively designed to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion on an ongoing basis.

Our members enjoy a robust array of benefits and privileges, including an on-Grounds home in Pavilion VII for daily and overnight accommodations.

This pavilion, the first built in Mr. Jefferson’s Academical Village, dates to the laying of its cornerstone in 1817. Today’s members enjoy the benefits of an extensive restoration that occurred from 1998 to 2002. The Club itself, however, dates from 1907, when forty-two faculty members joined together to form a faculty club.
