Enjoy a stunning performance and light reception with Three Notch'd Road, the area’s only professional ensemble that performs early music on period instruments. Named for a colonial route through central Virginia, the musicianship of Three Notch'd Road is founded on a vigorous historical approach, offering little-known music of the baroque as well as incisive performances of well-known favorites.

About the program: “Faerie Baroque: Songs and Dances of the British Isles"

A duo performance by Peter Walker (bass, bagpipe, cittern, harp) and Fiona Hughes (baroque violin, soprano, harp). Repertoire to include Turlough O'Carolan, traditional ballads, and German composers Haydn and JC Bach in faerie theme.
